MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE - The best way to determine the correct size is to measure your waist, (or your hips, if you'd like to wear the tutu at the hip), and order the corresponding waist measurement. I know it's a pain, but it really is the best way. Waist sizes vary greatly between manufacturers so 30 inch "waist" jeans from one company doesn't mean your waist measurement is 30 inches.
What if my measurement is off a bit? - Our tutus are made with top-quality, non-roll, elastic waistbands, which means they will stretch an additional 2-3 inches if necessary.
MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE - The best way to determine the correct length is to measure straight down from your waist (or hips if you plan on wearing it at the hip), and order the length that works best for you. Your tutu will fluff out, so the measurement isn't exact, but it will give you the best idea as to the coverage you can expect. Again, know it's a pain, but it really is the best way.
General Guidelines for Length:
Due to the weight of the tulle, the longer the tutu the flatter it will lay (still puffy, just more skirt-like).
A 10" tutu from us is super-super fluffy and usually (depending on the person) covers just your bottom.
A 12" tutu is a great choice for a little more coverage, but still lots of fluff.
We put together the chart below to give you a little visual of tutu lengths. Please note it is an approximation of length on an average 5' 5" woman, and it is a guideline only. Please measure to select the best length for you.
